This outcome suggests that waterborne epoxy resin can increase the durability and resistance of the emulsified asphalt.In conclusion, this study demonstrated that waterborne epoxy resin, when added to modified emulsified asphalt, can improve the material's properties and microstructure. The resulting emulsified asphalt binder shows the potential to offer resistance to degradation and improve durability, making it an ideal material for pavement construction.
